More Than a Gym

Moorgate Fitness Club, by Central YMCA and in partnership with YMCA London City and North is a brand-new fitness centre in the heart of Moorgate, designed to give you access to top-notch equipment and classes at a price that won’t break the bank. More than just a gym, we’re a community where everyone – no matter your fitness level – feels supported and motivated.

Moving With Purpose

When you join Moorgate Fitness Club, part of your membership fee goes towards important charitable programs run by Central YMCA.

Central YMCA is a charity focused on improving the health, wellbeing and education of our communities, with the belief that when people are healthier, they’re happier, and that everyone deserves access to high quality fitness facilities.

Central YMCA opened its first gym, YMCA Club, way back in 1881 and still welcomes people from all backgrounds to be a part of our community – from top athletes to those recovering from illnesses like cancer. But our work doesn’t stop at health and wellbeing, it also extends to education. Central YMCA believes that every young person has something valuable to offer. We provide training courses and apprenticeships to help young people – and people of all ages – to reach their full potential.

At the heart of the Charity’s mission is breaking down barriers and giving people better access to life-changing opportunities. Moorgate Fitness Club is excited to be part of this amazing mission.

For those already into fitness, we hope to inspire you to support others too. Through YMCA Fit, there’s potential to work towards fitness qualifications up to Level 3, giving you a chance to give back what you’ve learned.
